SAIC is looking for an entry to mid-level engineer to support the development, evaluation, and testing of munition systems for the United States Air Force. Specifically, it involves the development of real-time simulations and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) test software to support Weapon Open Systems Architecture (WOSA) efforts. The successful applicant will work with senior personnel to develop system component models, logical interface algorithms, real-time simulations, and database tools to aid in these tests. In addition, the applicant may be required to support the development of hardware and software interfaces unique to test units. The applicant will be expected to document processes, procedures, and test results, and report these to their program supervisor.
Programming Skills such as C++, SQL, MATLAB and Simulink, Python
Experience with WOSA standard and development of Open Architecture Test and Emulation Software
B.S. required Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance
2 years of experience
Understanding of database creation/repository configuration
Proficient using MS Word, MS PowerPoint; basic understanding of LaTeX experience
Proficient in C++, interrupt driven hardware interfacing
Ability to develop hardware in the loop testing procedures and interfacing with existing software tools in C++
Robot Operating System (ROS) experience
