SAP Applications Analyst - HR / HCM Would you like to take on assignments with a high level of responsibility?
  • The main task is to maintain the SAP Human Resources (HR / HCM) and integration points to the business specifications and MAHLE standards and provide support for new and existing SAP HR application area.
  • Responsible for handling the incident tickets and application support to end users in the SAP HR application functional area
  • Work with business customers to gather requirements, to determine and analyze the best solution for the business. Determine and communicate best practices. Work to ensure accurate system master data and transactional data.
  • Work with stake holders to create a small project, manage and communicate the status of the project. Follow MAHLE Project methodologies and comply with PMO procedures and KPIs. Monitor time lines for the multiple projects, preventing potential delays and/or informing project sponsors following escalation procedures
  • Responsible for technical documentation for enhancements and configuration of the SAP HR application area and ensure systems are maintained according to MAHLE guidelines and specifications
  • Work closely with HR staff at all locations in North America region (US, MX & CAN) and with Shared service center locations in EU & MX to test, maintain and support SAP HR systems and processes
  • Part of US COE (Center of Excellence) team supporting primarily US functionality, but have the ability to direct SSC resources in support for other locations in NA
  • Assess impact of new SAP functionality to current system landscape environments, design solution and assist production support teams in deploying solutions.
  • Evaluate the requirements and engage the business area representatives to gather and transform the requirements into SAP specific technical and functional specifications.
  • Documentation of the settings and preparation of guidelines and technical specifications that allow other consultants to further change, repair or enhance system.
  • Documents the testing processes and prepares the end user guides and documentation.
  • Able to work with ALE and iDocs in a Split landscape with HR and ERP in different SAP systems (and releases)
  • Participate on the CAB meetings to review new requirements, approvals or issues with projects and Comply with the PMO KPI’s and Procedures
  • Suggest improvements and foster their development and implementation and Keep internal customers informed about SAP application issues and resolutions

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or Information Technology - Required
  • 7 or more years of professional experience working in an SAP functional and technical role - Required
  • 5 or more years of SAP Applications Analyst experience - Required
  • Demonstrated knowledge & experience in the following systems functionalities:
  • SAP ECC Human Resources module- Preferred
  • HR modules – OM, PA, BN, PT & ESS / MSS - Required
  • Experience in HR modules – PY, Recruitment, LMS, Solution Manager - Preferred
  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors - Nice to Have
  • 7+ years ABAP programming and Web Dynpro and FIORI applications - Preferred
  • Training/Certification in SAP and ABAP - Preferred
