SAP DEVELOPER

LOCATION: WESTMINSTER, CO

Swisslog is a leading supplier of automation and software solutions for material transport and medication management that increases hospital efficiency and enhances the patient experience. We offer total system design, manufacturing, installation and customer support to provide an integrated solution that enhances information access, cost efficiency, error reduction and most importantly, patient safety. The SAP Developer demonstrates technical proficiency in software design, development and support. Using SAP ABAP programming language, The SAP Developer completes the following tasks: IDOC development and processing, ALE configuration, BAPI development, programming SAP user exits, SAP report writing, SAP screen development, Web Dynpro. This person works in a small project environment with employees and consultants located in diverse geographic areas. Frequent communication with end users is necessary to help understand requirements.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ABAP custom report development and testing
  • ABAP screen development and testing
  • ABAP Web Dynpro maintenance and testing
  • BAPI and RFC interface development
  • SAP SAPscript and Adobe Forms development and maintenance
  • SAP Web Service development
  • SAP BADI, User Exit and Enhancement Spot development
  • Evaluate and advise management on the appropriate utilization of SAP development efforts to achieve integrated business communications that improve overall corporate operations
  • Review, develop, and support the implementation of SAP solutions to meet future corporate needs
  • Support and integrate efforts directed towards enhancing the use of existing SAP modules to maximize business efficiencies
  • Understand Swisslog business practices and how to integrate those business practices into SAP
  • Act as a technical liaison between the IT department and the SAP end-users
  • YOUR PROFILE:

    Minimum:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computers or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Kind and Length of Experience:
  • 5+ years’ experience as an SAP developer or similar role
  • 5+ years’ experience in SAP ABAP development
  • 5+ years’ developing SAP user exits
  • 5+ years’ experience developing SAPscripts and/or Adobe Forms
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting skills through resolution, understanding SAP system configuration issues and how to resolve those issues (critical thinking and problem solving skills)
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Desirable but not Essential:
  • Report writer or report painter
  • Workflow experience
