Job Description

The Enterprise Applications group design, develop and implement business applications to support the various business operations at the Laboratory. For this particular situation, need, we need the re-write of a number of strategic applications (EHS MS Net, PTRACK and a few others related to HR) that use Flash/Flex (both of these outside frameworks are out of warranty. We need to get these applications rewritten to avoid business interruption.

  • Domains: Software/application design, development, and support; coder; web interface; graphic design; system configuration management; system troubleshooting.
  • Design, develop, and support technical programs utilizing modern software engineering techniques, programming tools, and support processes for Laboratory program managers and technical staff.
  • Participate in defining, describing and implementing program deliverables/functionalities.
  • Evaluate and propose the use of open source and commercial software, frameworks, and tools where applicable.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD secret clearance
  • Ph.D. plus 5 years minimum experience, or MS plus 8 years minimum experience
  • ABAP, HTML5, JAVA, Javascript, SAP Neptune, Eclipse IDE with SAP, UI5, OData
  • Developing, debugging, and executing software in a Windows and Linux environment
  • Have SAP HANA S/4 Experience
  • User experience design skills – using CSS style sheets.
  • Work Web Services Development
  • Build prototypes based on SAP HANA Cloud Platform
  • Ensure great test coverage of coding, work root-cause-analysis techniques and provide manageable, long-term solutions
  • Provide documentation and train in-house developers before the contract has expired
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Location: Lexington, MA
  • Travel: Non-Anticipated
