My client, a Boston Biotech focusing on novel mRNA therapeutics are looking for an experienced Computational Biologist/Bioinformatician to join their team.
There are two openings, one for a Senior/Principal and one for a Director in this team.
The client is looking to identify a candidate who is enthused working at the forefront of technology. They use a multidisciplinary approach and unorthodox thinking, to drive the development of their technology. They are looking for someone who can quickly grasp working in this area and can generate novel ideas.
Candidates from a Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or mathematics background could also be a great fit for this role.
Analysis of Data: NGS (DNA/RNA-seq), Proteomics, etc,
Lead hypothesis generation and apply statistics to evaluate hypothesis
Present findings and collaborate within and between teams
Novel solutions, creative thinking, independent and enthusiastic
BS/MS + Industry experience or PHD
Tech Skills: NGS, Genomics, Proteomics, RNA-seq, Samtools, Scripting (Bash/Shell), Public datasets, Python, R (or C++),
Experience in industry (5+ years will be Senior)
Understanding of Ribosome profiling, RNA structure analysis, LC/MS
Massively parallel reporter assays, workflow management, AWS or Google Cloud, RNA folding, pathway analysis, and/or machine learning
