Job Description
Make the Pictures Move Pretty

You’re a pro when it comes to motion graphics and animation for video and are looking to push your skills into new mediums—like interactive experiences, installations and VR—in the digital realm.

As a Senior Motion Graphics Artist at Firstborn, you’ll work closely with a team of animators, compositors, 3D artists, editors, developers, producers and creatives to craft a wide variety of content, interactive experiences, installations and AR/VR. You’ll work as part of a team on large-scale projects and also on smaller projects that you’ll personally see through—from concept to completion.

Key Duties
  • Complete projects from concept to completion as part of a larger team collaboration, all while wearing multiple hats
  • Work with input and direction from Creative Directors and Senior Artists while bringing your own flavor of creative options to the table
  • Hold yourself accountable to the highest quality standards of Firstborn
  • Support the efforts of the motion graphic artists, 3D artists and the live-action team
  • Act as a mentor to Junior Artists and bring out the best in those that work around you
  • Provide thoughtful creative thinking to any project you work on
  • Must Have
  • 5-7 years experience
  • Expert knowledge of After Effects and C4D (bonus for Maya)
  • Fluency in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative spirit and desire for constant improvement
