Our client in Newark is looking for a Shipping Loader. The ideal candidate is required to operate machinery. ELECTRIC WALKIE, SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT, PALLET JACK . The employee is required to have visual acuity to operate machinery and/or heavy equipment. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject the following work environment: The employee is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. The employee is required to work on a dock. The employee is subject to extreme cold: temperatures typically between 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit and occasionally may be exposed to temperatures of zero degrees Fahrenheit. The employee is subject to hazards including moving pallets; material and/or equipment handling. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Measures of Performance Performance reviews will be conducted annually. Freezer operations will be evaluated specifically on the following factors: Speed and accuracy of quantities unloaded. Compliance and enforcement of company policies and procedures. Ability to coordinate shipping with regards to customer service, efficiency and safety. Following accepted safety practices in accordance with company policies and procedures. Hours of Work: 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. PRIMARY Job Duties: Loading/Unloading trucks
