The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for keeping up with daily posts and Social Media advertising as well as promoting our brands and products across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
The Social Media Specialist will keep up with industry trends as well as develop relationships with online users to create a community for our brand and products. A major focus of this role is to get product feedback from consumers to improve our products and enhance our brand experience.
Assist with daily content posts across all brands which include security & surveillance products, bathroom furniture, home medical appliances, athletic clothing apparel, hand watches, consumer electronics and more
Assist with weekly boosted product giveaways with targeting and the ability to optimize target audience
Work with beta testers and product testers to obtain product feedback for product improvement purposes and to create hype for our products and brands
Ability to effectively engage a high volume of customers and communicate one-on-one with online customers via social media messaging in a timely manner
Generate brand awareness and promote positive product impressions to increase sales and brand awareness
Assist with product launches and generating hype around new products
Identify opportunities and social media strategies in real-time
Collaborate with internal teams on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative event/social marketing campaigns
Knowledge and experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms
Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop and video editing abilities (or willingness to learn very quickly)
Basic understanding of Facebook/Google Ad Manager, boosted posts, target audiences and metric reporting and optimization (or willingness to learn very quickly)
Ability to take and work with constructive criticism
Great customer service skills with the ability to handle high volume of messages
Demonstrable social networking experience (Facebook Pages, Groups, etc.)
Basic understanding of online shopping and Ecommerce
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to type 60WPM or greater Positive attitude and willingness to innovate and work as a team
