Job Description

Cerebral Staffing, LLC is seeking an individual to work on-site at John Deere in Moline, IL as an experienced Software Developer/Programmer III/Technical Coach:

Duties:

Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Required:

  • 4 years of experience in this field; DevOps principles and lean development; pair programming; Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and advanced enterprise Agile principles.
  • Ability to demonstrate the following: Test Driven Dev or Behavior Driven Dev; present information to an audience that includes employees with little technical background; influence without authority; collaborate globally.
  • A strong candidate will also have knowledge and relevant work experience with the following: Java or Abap or Javascript development; Jenkins and build automation; static code analysis tools such SonarQube; developing applications in the cloud; and experience in advanced Agile practices
