We need an experienced software test engineer to help us design and architect an automated testing pipeline that shortens the time it takes to get new capabilities from development to production to support mission critical operations. As a software test engineer on our team, you’ll use your development experience to streamline our software testing development life cycle from development to production. You’ll lead efforts to incorporate open source tools, automation, and Cloud resources to develop an integrated testing solution within our DevOps pipeline. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like agile development, chaos engineering, Cloud-based development, containerization, and serverless while developing software that will improve national security. We’ll help you develop the career you want, as you chart your own course for success. You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with testing or developing software applications
  • 1+ years of experience with test automation, including developing frameworks and automated test scripts
  • Experience with test methodologies and the QA process, software release cycle, test effort estimation, and tracking
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree
  • Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with serverless, including Lambda, Step Functions, and SAM
  • Experience with scripting technologies, including Ansible, Cloud Formations, or Terraform
  • Experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • Experience with designing, developing, deploying, testing in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem or similar Cloud provider
  • Experience with Bitbucket, Junit, SonarQube, JMeter, Jenkins, Cucumber, Selenium, TestRail
  • Experience with an Agile release methodology
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph a plus
  • AWS Solutions Architect or Developer Certification
  • Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
