We are currently searching for a Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain & Logistics to join our team located in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for financial activities around Supply Chain, distribution, and transportation for forecasting, reporting, and driving initiatives to achieve company goals.
About the Job:
Collaboration with VP of Distribution and Transportation on monthly metrics and trends for our global distribution centers and logistics on freight costs
Support the Senior VP of Supply Chain on understanding cost trends in his cost centers and providing analytics as needed
Responsible for monthly closing entries and accruals related to freight, duties, and distribution
Generate and maintain monthly reporting packages and bridges comparing actual results to budget and forecast
Investigate and provide analysis on variances related to spending, metrics, and productivity
Support the development of annual budgets, strategic plans, and rolling forecasts for Supply Chain, warehouses, and logistics
Proactive in doing analytical work to support productivity improvements in all areas that this role supports
What You Need:
Degree in Finance or Accounting (Master s degree preferred or equivalent experience)
5 plus years of experience in Supply Chain, warehouse and logistics Financial Analytical roles
Preferred some knowledge in transportation
Strong analytical/modeling skills
SAP experience preferred/Strong Excel Skills/Hyperion
Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Inquisitive in nature, desire to learn and grow in their career path
Must be results oriented with a desire and ability to take initiative and ownership
