Senior Software Engineer, Android:

You will play a crucial role in designing and developing Android apps. - this means you’ll be essential in laying down the groundwork, infrastructure and product discussion from start to finish. You will be collaborating with a small team of engineers, designers and key individuals across the company to provide the most empowering user experience possible. Be a part of the most disruptive technology impacting how people buy and sell real estate online.

Responsibilities:

Work with a small 2-3 person development, product & design team to understand feature requirements and work in an agile environment.

Share your design and architecture with the team and once finalized, take ownership to develop & deliver on time.

Work closely with QA to refine features and use-cases.

Be an internal champion for continuously improving team working processes, code quality, and tools and technology adoption.

Requirements:

5+ years of software development experience in Java

3+ years’ experience in building Android apps using Android framework (Don't forget to showcase if youhave any app in Google Play Store).

Good understanding of Google UI guidelines for Android apps.

Deep understanding of design patterns and OO principles.

Experience with Rest Webservices and JSON.

Experience with Android Studio.

Experience with Git.

Experience in developing apps for iOS is a plus.

Experience working in scrum teams in Agile environment.

Aptitude for both teaching and learning from others in a collaborative team environment.

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Master's degree preferred
