Ridley Park,Pennsylvania,United States HAD9P3 The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for Supply Base Management Specialists to join the Vertical Lift Supply Chain Business Teams in Ridley Park, PA. Position Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships. Conducts supplier assessments and reviews. Monitors supplier performance, capability, capacity and business health. Conducts trend analysis.
  • Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities. Develops mitigation plans. Performs root cause analysis and develops corrective action and mitigation plans, monitors to closure. Communicates across functions to report status, issues and concerns.
  • Identifies, implements and documents improvement opportunities and cost reduction/affordability initiatives. Monitors progress and provides outcomes for business plan integration.
  • Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies.
  • Participates in supplier evaluations to develop source selections and contract proposals.
  • Maintains collaborative relationships with suppliers, Supply Chain Contracting teams, customers, programs and other functions.
  • Communicates supply chain status updates to programs and customers. Communicates program changes to Supply Chain Contracting teams and suppliers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with Procurement Processes.
  • More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers.
  • Experience interfacing with customers and/or suppliers.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
  • Experience managing schedules and working with business systems
  • Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience in a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or other computer system that manages inventory and/or inventory transactions.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships for technical product lines.
  • More than 3 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  • Typical Education/Experience: Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
