An exciting NYC real estate client is looking to add a Worker's Compensation Specialist to their dynamic team. This position is on site 5 days week, bonus eligible, generous PTO, and benefits. This person should have 5+ years experience and a degree is a must. Responsibilities for this position are, but not limited to:
Subject matter expert in union and non-union workers compensation management including claims monitoring, report generation, and communication with employees, managers, insurance carriers, medical staff, and lawyers.
Oversee and administer leaves of absences under FMLA, NY State Paid Family Leave, NJ Family Leave and Disability; including communicating with employee to review leave process, gathering and completing all required paperwork, and submitting claim forms to insurance carrier. Drafting and sending initial and follow-up leave of absence and accommodation letters.
Distribution of Labor Law Postings to site locations and intranet
OSHA compliance, postings & reporting for all payroll entities
